Assistant Site Manager

Assistant Site Manager to join our client in Swindon SN3.

o Monday to Thursday 5AM till 1PM and Friday 5AM till 12:30PM.

About the job
o Flexible and Team Player, working as part of the site facilities team, complete general maintenance work, security, porterage and occasional cleaning as directed by the Site Manager.
o Key person responsible at the start of the day, unlocking the building and ensuring it is safe and ready to receive the students, trouble shooting any problems that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
o Carry out daily building inspections to make sure everything is in a good condition - no cracks in windows, cleaning, doors working, everything needs to be in their place.
o Reporting any defects, building inspection everyday and report to your Site Manager.o Make sure general maintenance work around the whole building.
o Assist with general maintenance work around the building.
o Supervise and assist contractors around the site directed.
The right candidate
o Caretaking/site management experience in a similar environment.
o Good Skills to undertake day to day repairs and maintenance of building.
o Make sure you understand Health and Safety requirements of a school.
o Brilliant organisation skills.
o IT knowledge
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
