Senior Employment Solicitor
Slough, UK
A dynamic and forward-thinking law firm based in Slough, specialising in employment law is seeking a motivated and skilled Employment Solicitor to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own employment case work, representing Claimants in both litigated and non-litigated matters, and providing support to the firms Partners and Senior Solicitors on more extensive and high-value cases.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced legal environment and make a meaningful contribution to the firms clients' cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage own caseload of employment matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Act as the primary representative for Claimants in litigated and non-litigated matters, providing expert legal advice and representation.Adhere to procedural funding guideline time limits and provide support to Partners and Senior Solicitors on complex cases.Handle Settlement Agreements and negotiate favorable terms for clients.Staff the Advice Line and provide legal advice to Union Officers as needed.Develop a thorough understanding of financial management processes, including WIP, disbursements, billing, and profitability.Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet or exceed set targets and objectives.
