Greenwell Gleeson Ltd is currently hiring for the role of Financial Controller - Finance Director Designate (within 12 months) located in Stoke on Trent.
As part of a privately owned, growing SME Business, the responsibilities of this role will involve:
- Overseeing the company's financial accounts: Ensuring accurate preparation and monthly presentation to the board, providing valuable insights into financial performance.
- Collaborating with the management team: Working closely with the management team to enhance processes and controls.
- Providing accurate data reporting: Delivering weekly reports to management, offering valuable insights and analysis for decision-making and business performance.
- Overseeing tax, regulatory, and compliance matters: Ensuring compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to maintain financial integrity.
- Supporting external accountants: Collaborating with external accountants, providing necessary documentation for audits and compliance.
- Preparing and submitting Quarterly VAT Returns: Managing VAT processes, including quarterly submissions, foreign VAT, and import documentation.
- Developing and presenting a 12-week cash forecast: Providing visibility into cash flow projections for effective financial planning.
