Due to a recent promotion, the HEIW Planning and Performance team are looking to recruit a permanent Senior Project Support Officer to provide project, administrative and communications support across all areas of the team's work.

We are looking for someone who is organised, proficient in the O365 suite of tools, has excellent communications skills, and can build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.

This role is within a central enabling team and provides a great opportunity for exposure to multiple areas of the organisation and skills development in areas of work that are central to the NHS Wales transformation agenda.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide secretarial and clerical support to the Assistant Director, senior managers, and other staff in the team.
  • Lead and co-ordinate secretarial and clerical functions across the department.
  • Manage own workload in response to changing priorities, referring to manager and senior team when needed, and highlighting where actions are required outside own area of responsibility.

Qualifications and Knowledge

  • NVQ level 4 Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent experience
