Squad Leader

We are looking for a professional with experience in cemetery operations to join our team as a Squad Leader. As a Squad Leader, you will lead a team in providing frontline services for grounds maintenance & cemetery operations. Reporting to the Streetscene Team Leader and collaborating with the Locality Shift Planner, you will ensure high team performance & productivity. The role requires initiative, workload prioritization, compliance with Health & Safety regulations, and adherence to council policies. A background in horticulture, proven leadership skills, and experience in grounds maintenance are essential. Strong communication skills are vital as you will interact daily with employees, Council Officers, Funeral Directors, and the public.
