We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to work on signal processing for wireless networks research for 18 months.

The Opportunity:

The selected applicant will research advanced sensing and communications, semantic communications, radar signal processing and distributed signal processing, information-theoretic study of 6G wireless networks, and privacy-preserving distributed learning. Applicants with research experience in 5G NR, real-time signal processing implementation, convex optimization techniques, stochastic geometry, statistical signal processing and beamforming (but not limited to) are encouraged to apply.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Knowledge in full-duplex radio, sensing and communications
  • Knowledge of advanced radar signal processing and distributed signal processing
  • 5G NR standard
  • Wireless transceiver design and performance evaluation
  • Strong mathematics skills – Linear algebra/matrix theory/probability/statistics
  • FPGA implementation
  • Prototype using USRPs
  • Deep learning algorithms
