Functional Test Engineer Location:

Hourly Rate:
£60.00 Paye or £79.19 Umbrella INSIDE ir35 About the Role: Are you ready to be at the forefront of cutting-edge aircraft design and development projects? We're seeking a talented Functional Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Warton. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in advanced Air Data System and Control System design and testing. You'll also gain valuable experience in verifying software functions and their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate High-Level Software Requirements (HLRs). Review Interface Control Documents (ICDs). Design and document Test Objectives to verify the HLRs. Develop and document test cases (inputs and outputs for a given function) to meet the designed Test Objectives. Collaborate with experts in control system design to report problems and document issues.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience. Ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment. Proactive approach to problem-solving and experience defining tests. Proficiency in reading requirements in DOORS. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and MatLab Simulink.

Working Hours:
Full-time position (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours Total hours per week: excluding lunch breaks) Flexibility in start and finish times as agreed with local Line Management
