Overview
On behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Joint Safeguarding Support team within Children's Services based in Aylesbury. Working alongside the Safeguarding Partnership Manager, you will play an important role in providing non-routine and complex information and business support services to the team and the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Children Board.

Temporary – 3 months with potential to extend
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Pay Rate - £15.77 per hour
Start Date - ASAP
Work Schedule – Mix of office and home working
Location – Aylesbury based

About the role
As a Partnership Administration Officer, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
  • Create documents, reports, correspondence and other materials, as required.
  • Organise and support meetings and events, including producing a record from meetings and chasing actions.
  • Manage diaries and travel arrangements as required.
  • Provide the main point of contact for the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Children Partnership and the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Children Board, acting as a filter for issues/problems and an escalation point for non-routine issues.

About you
The successful candidate(s) should have:
  • Previous experience as an Administrator or similar
  • Experience or recording accurate notes in meetings
  • Excellent ICT skills - including use of Microsoft applications and specialist systems which support procedures, statutory processes and record keeping.
  • Previous experience of working within Children's Services or similar is desired but not essential
  • Previous experience within a Local Authority or Public Sector is desired but not essential
