We are looking to recruit a FAIR Inspector to work for an international manufacturing company supplying components to the aerospace industry. The FAIR Inspector will provide Quality and Inspection support and to develop the Right First-Time philosophy required to become a leading supplier of components to the aerospace industry. If you have previous experience of FAIR inspection gained in an engineering/manufacturing environment, then we want to hear from you.

Duties:

  • Maintain quality control within the manufacturing process
  • Inspection and verification of components produced at all stages
  • First article inspection and non-conformance procedures
  • Support and promote improvement activities within the manufacturing processes
  • Complete FAIRS to AS9102 using Q-Pulse and Net-inspect

Skills & Experience:

  • An engineering background with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Must have worked to ISO9001 and provided 1st Article Inspection Reports
  • Technical knowledge within the aerospace sector preferred
  • Experience in a quality control environment preferred
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision with excellent attention to detail
  • CMM an advantageous but not essential
  • Practical Problem-Solving skills
