This is a short-term role helping us during our busiest time - a great part-time summer job

As a Service Assistant you'll work across visitor areas, helping the visitor experience team deliver high-quality customer service. You will be based either in the Grand Hall of the castle, or in the Visitor Welcome Centre.

Salary: £11.50 / hour

Contract/duration: Fixed Term Contract running until the 15th of September

Hours/working pattern/hours: Flexible hours, between 2 - 5 shifts a week. Hours will be 9:45 until 3:45

Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you'll be part of a team working at Penrhyn Castle property.

What you'll be doing

Service Assistants play an important role in supporting various property teams in greeting and helping our visitors. No two days are the same and you can expect to meet lots of different people and help in various visitor areas. You'll be involved in different tasks. These could include greeting visitors on arrival, restocking the shelves in the shop and clearing tables in the café. Most importantly you'll talk to visitors, answering any questions they have to make sure they can find everything they need for their visit. This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service and a keen interest in learning about visitor operations.
