Job Description

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Form a team of direct Sales Executives to boost new business sales growth rapidly within the region
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the region in collaboration with Sales Operations, focusing on Go-To-Market effectively by understanding the competitive landscape and regional presence and strength
  • Actively participate in territory planning, relationship building, and opportunity creation, supporting Field Sales Teams in closing deals and driving revenue
  • Hire, train, and guide team members to promote excellence
  • Create territories and quotas for the sales team, communicating performance expectations clearly
  • Manage and provide accurate forecasts and pipeline reporting to the business
  • Meet annual sales targets on a quarterly and yearly basis
  • Engage effectively in C-level meetings to grasp customer business needs accurately
  • Establish strong relationships with Solution Consulting, Business Units, Professional Services, Marketing, the Partner community, and ServiceNow's executive team
  • Maintain and expand the existing customer base through regular non-sales customer engagement activities to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record of success in new business sales, with strong presentation and negotiation skills in the Energy & Utilities sector, particularly at the C Level
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in recruiting, coaching, and managing a high-performing sales team
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities, with analytical and financial planning skills to meet and surpass quotas and objectives
  • Ownership of accurate CRM reports, including present and future quarterly forecasts and opportunity assessments
  • Experience in leading sales processes and fostering effective relationships with Sales Operations
  • The ability to grasp the broader business perspective and IT-related drivers
  • Capable of building lasting strategic relationships at a senior level
  • Adaptability and effectiveness in a fast-evolving and expanding environment
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Established self-motivated sales teams that embrace a culture of collaboration, enthusiasm, and exceeding expectations
  • Experience in championing top performers, continuously developing and coaching the team and top performers appropriately
  • Proven success in managing partner relationships and networks, with the skill to enhance revenue streams and territory growth through the partner ecosystem
  • Ownership of driving successful pipeline generation activities facilitated by marketing or the partner community
