Criminal Solicitor

A Southampton law firm has a requirement for an experienced Criminal Solicitor to join their Criminal department.

The Criminal Solicitor will manage a busy case load of alleged criminal matters including theft, drug offences, fraud, grievous bodily harm, actual bodily harm, manslaughter, attempted murder, murder, and motoring offences involving full case preparation whilst obtaining and reviewing case details, drafting legal documentation and responses such as witness statements and pleadings.

Experience in conducting advocacy at Court is essential

It's anticipated the Criminal Solicitor will possess experience in attending and representing clients at both police stations and in court proceedings.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be accredited to the Duty Rota but, this is not essential, strong communication skills are essential.
