Queen Elizabeth's School is looking for a Technician (Music & Drama) to join our fantastic Performing Arts faculty. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £14,327 to £15,853 per annum (Grade 7)

This job is Part Time - Term Time Only for 25 Hours per week and 39 weeks per year.

It is offered on a {Permanent} basis

Approximate start date {September 2024}.

We are recruiting for a technician to join our thriving Music and Drama departments in providing specialist technical support to teaching staff within the departments.

The post will involve contributing to teaching and learning activities through designing, developing and maintaining resources and equipment using Apple computers, music software Logic Pro and GarageBand.

In addition, the role includes working with and maintaining acoustic music resources and studio spaces and providing technical support to school concerts and productions.

We are looking for someone who:

Is proficient in the use of Logic Pro X and GarageBandHas the knowledge and experience of operating 'Lighting Desks' and PA/Sound equipmentHas an ability to make in-house repairs to music equipment Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has: previous experience in a similar role and music or music technology-based training would be beneficial.An ability to make in-house repairs to music equipmentAn understanding of the optimum set-up for music software operationWorking days are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm

Flexible working is required, including some evenings and weekends during school events and during the School Production.
