This is an exciting opportunity to join our well-resourced and successful RS department. Located within the confines of the historic Cathedral close, Bishop Wordsworth's School is renowned for its strong links with the Church of England and Salisbury Cathedral and its sense of pride in the school community, the school is rated as Outstanding in the latest Ofsted and SIAMS reports.

RS has a high profile in the school and is taught to all students in Years 7-11, with all students taking full course GCSE, and A Level RS/Philosophy being offered in the Sixth Form. Both uptake and examination outcomes are very strong at all levels and the department has an excellent record of university entry. This is an exciting opportunity to join our established department to teach pupils who are actively engaged, want to learn and where there is minimum disruption in lessons.

We are recruiting an approximate 0.8 fte role but can explore the possibility of a full time appointment for the right candidate.
