On behalf of an Acute district Hospital in Mid Yorkshire, I'm looking for an experienced Microbiology Consultant who could start asap and cover minimum 3 months of service.

This locum position is likely to be extendedMon – Fri, 9-17, Predominantly, onsite presence will be needed but may be able to offer some remote workingOncalls 1 in 4Most on-call activity is remotely-delivered via telephone or using remote IT-access / electronic notes archive rarely, on-site attendance is required to support significant incidents or complex cases.

DutiesConsultation and advisory service to colleagues in the Trust and, from time-to-time, primary care and local mental health trustSupport to regular clinical meetings and to postgraduate activitiesInfection prevention and control advice cover when the infection control lead is awaySharing with the other three consultant microbiologists the task of providing integrated clinical microbiology serviceExcellent location, accessible via public transport & car with all amenities nearbyNegotiable pay rates, depending on experience
