Teaching Assistant – Widney Junior School

£24,702 to £27,334 pro rata per annum. Actual salary if for example working 20 hours per week, term time only £11,446 to £12,666. Incremental progression is dependent on performance.

Part Time Term Time Only; a selection of Teaching Assistant positions are available on a part-time basis. Hours/days to be confirmed in collaboration with the right candidate.

Widney Junior School is looking to appoint a number of Teaching Assistants to join a team of friendly and experienced staff. The roles we have available would include working in collaboration with the class teacher to support groups and individual children, including those with additional needs. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children between the age range of 7 and 11, and some experience of delivering a phonics intervention would be desirable.

These positions are based on a fixed term contract starting on 1st September 2024 and will come to an end on 31st August 2025.

Visits to the school are welcome.
