The Role
This role is key within the Site Technical team, taking responsibility for the implementation and continual development of a robust QA system that meets all codes of practice, legal requirements, customer requirements and the needs of the business. Working closely with Production Management to drive and improve good manufacturing practice, the role take accountability for ensuring adherence to company food safety and hygiene procedures throughout the factory. The role takes responsibility for effective management of the compliance team to ensure that the highest standards of food safety of our products and processes are maintained and improved.

Key Accountabilities
Working with Technical Manager to help ensure that everything that we produce is within the specifications as agreed with the customer.
Develop and maintain exceptionally strong working relationships with Site Teams, including regular updates to ensure awareness of all Quality issues and encourage two way communication and problem solving.
Build and maintain close working relationships with all of our customers, establishing a position as a key contact and promoter of Quality excellence for Karro.
Visit external customers by promoting the business' values and purpose and quality management capabilities.
Work closely with the Commercial and Marketing functions to support the development of excellent customer relations.
Develop and maintain strong relationship with all site functions and relevant site functions.
Skills and Experience Required
Solid experience with technical systems and standards and management within manufacturing.
Proven track record of achievement within a quality/technical role
Experience of change management at a senior level.
Strong track record of successful team management.
Strong experience of customer/retailer systems.
