Paralegal

I'm working with a global engineering organisation based on the Hampshire/Surry border. They are presently recruiting for a permanent Paralegal who will work under the supervision of a senior counsel, this position enhances attorney effectiveness by providing contract review, claims, litigation support and company secretarial support.

Job Description

Review, draft and negotiation of commercial agreements, NDA's, services, supply and/or purchase agreements, licensing agreements and other contracts of low to moderate complexity in support of the business.Prepare and review documents related to general corporate and litigation.Review documents related to company secretarial matters and provide direction.Draft correspondence and assure communication and timely responses to and from outside attorneys, company staff, and insurance carriers.Research and analysis of law, preparation of briefs, and assist with strategy development. Preferred QualificationsDegree qualified ideally within law or relevant conversion course.Experience working in either private practice, or in-house environment, looking at commercial law matters.Outstanding project management, organizational, and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and writing skills.Highly organized, detail oriented, with strong ability to prioritize.Demonstrated experience in a broad range of substantive legal and business areas.Flexibility, versatility and ability to deal with multiple issues, priorities, and personnel is expected and required.Capacity to collaborate with others and outstanding time-management abilities are essential.Demonstrated ability to work with outside counsel and deal with internal clients at many different levels within an organization.Proficient in the use of computers to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs.
