Main Purpose of Job

  • To undertake, individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • To cover staff absences and vacancies at any establishment within the area
  • All roles will require flexibility in terms of location, and hours worked, which could include early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Key responsibilities

  • To clean, wash, sweep, vacuum clean, empty litterbins, polish and dust designated areas (which may include toilets and showers) and fixtures and fittings using, where appropriate, powered equipment.
  • Completing timesheets (when applicable)
  • Ensure that equipment and materials are stored correctly
  • Reporting faulty machinery to supervisor/office (whichever is applicable)
  • Ordering materials (where applicable)
  • Litter picking duties internal (plus external - dependant on weather conditions)
