What will the role involve?

• As a QA Technician routinely monitoring food safety and compliance is imperative.
• Completing GMP audits and the hygiene of the lines is to the correct standard and all records are compliant.
• Assist in the closure of any non-conformances with the teams and be proactive in approaching including root cause analysis with the production teams. All recommendations need to be clearly communicated both in written and verbal form.
• Verify HACCP/Food Safety and any of the site requests working closely with the QA Manager.
• Be involved and support on any pest control audits on site.
• Complete glass and hard plastic audits reporting any issues and required additions immediately.
• Update the Quality Management System when required and review/update the 'Hold & Release' system.
• Training and support of QMS policies/procedures.

In terms of background the ideal candidate will have:

• Ideally a background in QA in food manufacturing.
• Good understanding of Food Safety, HACCP and GMP.
• Good problem resolutions skills.
• Confident and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently using initiative and being a positive member of this already busy team.
