A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sheet Metal Technician at a Aviation company. You'll be joining an established team of experienced Engineers in a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing and certifying the Rectification of defects IAW Approved Maintenance Data
- Component Changes arising from Schedule Maintenance Inspections
- Perform Maintenance Tasks that fall within Scope of Workshop Authorisation
- Fluent in performing General Visual Inspections, Detailed Visual Inspections and other methods of Surveillance Inspection, Maintenance Checks and Tasks as defined within limitations of Approved Authorisation.
- Will issue Certificate Release to Service.
- Will develop and train and knowledge share and provide coaching
- Perform PC based documentary transactions as required.
Requirements and Experience:
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent
- Recognised education qualification, ie NVQ Level 2 or HNC
- Experience working in an aircraft maintenance environment as appropriate to hold workshop authorisation
- Experience of working with SAP and Production support processes
- Understanding of internal procedures and awareness of Quality, Health Safety, Human Factors and Environmental legislative requirements
- PC literate and good understanding of BA Engineering IT systems
Salary: 48324
Shift: 4 on 4 off 12 hour days (6am-6pm)
