Principal Building Control Surveyor

Are you ready to be part of a well-organized Building Control team in Stoke? Our client is looking for expert Building Control Surveyors to join their team.

This contract is expected to last for approximately 5 months, with the possibility of extensions. The pay rate will be around £87.15 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to the public regarding Building Regulations and related laws.
  • Process complex applications under Building Regulations, offer guidance to applicants, and conduct inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Handle dangerous structure call outs and engage with specialist colleagues when needed.
Experience Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in building control focusing on Fire and structures.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Building Regulations for projects of all sizes, including complex ones.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines with limited resources.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Provide specialized planning advice to clients.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Experience in assisting and negotiating with design teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.
