The Sensor Engineer is customer facing role in the Suffolk / Essex Area ( IP/CO/CM Postcodes ). We are searching for candidates with a high level of communication, technical ability to install our Tank Monitoring Systems to deliver for our Kingspan customers.

Key Responsibilities

Install telemetry devices as per training and also undertake training and development to service other Kingspan products as and when required. Obtain tasks using PDA software as provided and trained to use. Liaise with line manager and scheduling department on job allocation and timing. Ensure customers are contacted first thing with ETA and keep up to date of any delays. Carry out a visual risk assessment on each job as required and raise any concerns with line managerProvide feedback on parts used in line with procedures to complete a task ensuring at all times parts are pre-paid when dealing with an end-user. Delivery of excellent customer service at all times and discuss with customer on all recommendations onsite including service plans and upgrade options and note these on your report. Carry out monthly stock takes on van stock or stock stored at lockups. Seek office involvement where additional unforeseen costs will require paid for. Vans will be tracked for health & safety and customer verification purposes and you will be provided with a SATNAV system to ensure you take the most efficient routes between jobs. Key Competencies Physically fit to do the required job. A medical may be required Experience working alone and high standards. Full Clean driving licence and undertake a DVLA Check. Excellent customer service skills Proven ability to fault find in a range of demanding environments. IT literate especially on MS products and preferably in use of a PDA reporting system or service based reporting package Proven ability to fault find in a range of demanding environments. Hours 42 ( Monday - Friday 8am -5:30pm )includes t he 30min commute to work.
