Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of Food and Nutrition at a Independent Senior school in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The school has an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and confident leader to take on the position of Head of Food and Nutrition from September 2024.

This is an opportunity for someone with enthusiasm and passion to grow a Food Technology department and play a key role in the school's longer-term vision. Food Technology is a popular optional subject currently being taught at GCSE.

In September 2024, they are looking to bring Food Technology into Year 9, with a longer plan of introducing the subject into Year 7 and 8, as part of the school's longer-term commitment to developing STEM across the curriculum.
