To deliver the change required, we've reset the entire Digital Services staffing structure, aligning to the DDaT profession capability framework, ensuring we have modern and fit for purpose job descriptions focusing on the rights skills and abilities.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Data Analyst, the post holder will develop a new suite of automated reports and dashboards to support statutory reporting and performance management. They will improve graphical data representations, benchmarking, needs projections and population projections. The post holder will have a working experience of SQL and PowerBI. Experience in creating reproducible outputs using R or Python will be desirable.

Part of a specialist team of data professionals, they will support the social services performance team, as they migrate to a new Social Care Case Management Platform (Mosaic).

The post holder will be a key part of the Neath Port Talbot DDaT portfolio, championing the power of data in everything we do.

Experience and education

Must be educated to HND level, with a commitment to work towards a formal data related qualification or possess equivalent occupational experience.

Formal qualifications in Digital Services, IT Service Management and/or business management
