A top publisher is looking for a future editorial assistant with a passion for children's publishing to join its team for a 12 month internship.

Pan Macmillan UK is one of the largest general book publishers in the UK, with imprints including Macmillan, Mantle, Pan, Picador, Boxtree, Sidgwick & Jackson, Bello, Tor, Kingfisher, Macmillan Children's Books, Two Hoots, Bluebird, Campbell Books, Macmillan New Writing and Macmillan Digital Audio. Pan Macmillan is part of Macmillan Publishers International Limited.

The Brands and Media team is home to an exciting market-leading children's character list that includes some of the biggest global brands and authors such as Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, Rod Campbell, The Gruffalo, Tales from Acorn Wood, Moomin, Milly-Molly-Mandy and Sylvanian Families, to name but a few. The team publishes bestselling books for children aged 0–9 years old, from lift-the-flap books for toddlers, novelty series and picture books for preschoolers, and illustrated non-fiction titles for older children.

You will be joining a team of five, working closely with the Publishing Director to deliver exceptional children's books in innovative new formats for a global audience. In return you will be offered a range of great projects and a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Key activities
