Sports Development Officer

We have an opening for full-time permanent Sports Development Officer working 37 hours per week.
You will have responsibility for improving physical activity and sport opportunities throughout the district and will develop, lead and deliver funded programmes, events and projects, in local communities to help increase participation and raise the profile of the benefits of more regular physical activity.
You will have experience of working in a sports, leisure or community environment, plus a minimum Level 2 qualification in Coaching, Recreation, Leisure or Sport.
With excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to encourage and motivate others. A fully flexible approach is required, and you will be expected to work evenings and weekend. A current driving licence is essential.
