An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Reporting team on a 9-12 month fixed term contract based either from the Maidenhead or Luxembourg office. This role is based from the office 4 days per week with the option to work either Tuesday or Friday from home.

Recording operating expense related entries/payments into the general ledgerAccounting for accruals and prepaymentsPreparation of the operating expense sections of monthly US & LuxGAAP management accounts and performing analytical reviewPreparing reconciliationsPreparing and distributing the monthly reconciliation trackerAssisting with additional year-end close and reporting requirementsSupporting the preparation of audit schedules and draft financial statements for subsidiary and branch accountsProviding support on an ad-hoc basis across the team
Ideally candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or hold or be working towards a relevant professional qualificationProven relevant accounting knowledge including knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proven analytical and organisational skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to prioritise work and self-direct work efforts based on reporting deadlinesAdaptable and willing to work as part of a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with standard software applications (Microsoft Excel & Word)Prior experience of PeopleSoft/Oracle based general ledger systems an advantage
