Legal Cashier - Bournemouth (Part-time)

Excellent opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a leading Dorset-based law firm.

Our client is a well-established and highly-regarded law firm based in Dorset.

They are currently looking for a Legal Cashier to join their Accounts department in Bournemouth on a part-time basis (3 days a week).

The role will involve focussing on delivering timely and accurate transactional work

Duties will include:
Identification, allocation and processing of a high volume of receipts and payments which come into the firms' bank accounts

All related on-line banking receipt and payment processing activities

Daily reconciliations of those bank accounts

Management accounting software

Accurately recording all transactions on the accounting systems, etc.

To be considered, you must have strong working knowledge of electronic accounting systems. You must also have experience of dealing with a high volume of financial transactions. Ideally, you will have experience of working in a law firm but this is not essential.


On offer is a competitive salary of up to £26,000 pro rata (depending on experience) and an attractive benefits package.

After a period of training, you will be able to do a mixture of office and remote working.
