Teaching Assistant (TA) / Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Length of role: First Half of the Autumn Term (3rd September to 24th October)
Location: Telford

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) with the flexibility to step into a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role in the afternoons. This position is for the first half of the Autumn term, from 3rd September to 24th October, in a Reception class at a vibrant and welcoming Telford Primary School.

Key Responsibilities
:
  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day management of the classroom.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
  • Stepping into an HLTA role in the afternoons to lead planned activities and cover classes when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a TA, preferably with experience in early years.
  • HLTA qualification or the willingness to take on HLTA responsibilities.
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their educational journey.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and a positive, proactive attitude.
