Do you want to make a difference to the lives of people who live at Howbury? We currently have a part time, permanent Domestic Assistant position available. All vacancies include alternate weekends and bank holiday working.

About Us:

Howbury House provides long term residential accommodation and support for 32 individuals. We are registered with CQC to provide personal care to people, some of whom maybe living with dementia.

We are an established team of dedicated staff and are very proud of the work we do and are looking for caring people to share our commitment to provide the best care for our residents.

The successful applicant must have the ability to listen and communicate orally and in writing. To be physically able to use cleaning equipment such as hoover, carpet cleaners and industrial laundry facilities. The ability to work as part of a team but also be able to work on own initiative, be caring, compassionate and motivated. An understanding of the rights and needs of older people and the ability to treat people with dignity and respect and as individuals.

To comply with the Statutory Regulations contained in the Health and Safety at Work Act, ensuring that appropriate levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the home.
