Skilled Labourer required for our client, an M+E specialist services provider based in the Cheltenham area. The Skilled Labourer / Mechanical Assistant will be working alongside fully qualified engineers, providing ongoing help with works on plumbing, heating and occasionally electrical works, around the Gloucestershire area.

The Labourer must have good, practical skills with previous experience carrying out or assisting work on mechanical and / or electrical projects. It would be advantageous for the skilled labourer to have some form of relevant qualification in a building services trade, e.g. an NVQ etc. although this is not essential.

The Skilled Labourer / Mechanical Assistant, must be within commutable distance of the Cheltenham area and be able to make their own way to the clients office, as they will be travelling with an engineer from the offices to sites.

Skilled Labourer Position Requirements
  • Previous experience carrying out basic mechanical and / or electrical works either alone, or alongside an engineer.
  • Good practical / hands on skills and ability
  • Reliable and willing to learn
  • Based within commutable distance to Cheltenham and able to make your own way, to the client's office
Skilled Labourer Position Remuneration
  • 25,000 to 27,000 basic salary depending on experience
  • Working hours 7:30am - 4pm
  • Overtime
  • Pension
  • Scope for training and progression
  • 29 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
