Enterprise & Events Adviser

Thamesmead, Greater London, United Kingdom University of Greenwich Full time

Location: Greenwich Campus

Part time hours: 21 hours

Interview date: To be confirmed

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Generator, the University of Greenwich's enterprise centre.

The Enterprise and Events Adviser is a key role within the team, leading on a range of events and activities that help over 1500 students and graduates each year to develop entrepreneurial skills, launch new ventures, and access funding and support networks.

In addition to providing events management and operational support (delegating relevant tasks to the Enterprise and Events Assistant), this role also provides direct support to entrepreneurs via workshop delivery and 1-1 enterprise appointments.

The role would suit somebody with a keen interest in entrepreneurship, developed either from running their own business or via supporting entrepreneurs through training and education programmes. As the role is part-time (3 days a week), it may suit somebody who is running their own project or business on the side.

The job will be based at the university's enterprise hub the Powerhouse, situated in the Greenwich Maritime Campus, a UNESCO world heritage site. There will be flexibility to spend at least one day per week working remotely.
