Location: Located in the heart of London's bustling and creative Soho, United Agents is one of London's leading talent agencies encompassing the worlds of film, TV, books, theatre, and comedy.
United Agents has a unique opportunity within our busy Film, TV & Theatre department for an agent's assistant with additional floating assistant responsibilities across other agents.
This is a 12-month fixed-term, and we expect on average around 50% of this successful candidate's time will be focused on giving dedicated support to the agent with the other 50% providing support to other members of the team on an ad hoc basis as a 'floating agent'. Our floating assistants offer general support to our Film, TV & Theatre department and will be happy to turn their hand to anything. This is a role where no week is ever the same – you could be running packages one minute to providing holiday cover on a busy Assistant's desk the next.
The role requires someone who is hugely adaptable, has great attention to detail and would suit an individual keen to take the next step in their career, working with a number of high-profile offices.
Responsibilities
Providing administrative support to the AgentDiary management for the AgentHandling a high volume of emails and calls, both from clients and producersProcessing contracts, issuing invoices, and keeping track of moniesResearching upcoming projects and actively putting clients forward for suitable projectsScript reading on behalf of Agent/clientsEnsuring client CVs are up to date online Knowledge, skills and experienceHigh level attention to detail and organisational skillsInterest in writer and directorsAbility to work accurately at speedConscientious, discreet, and reliableOutstanding communication skillsHighly numerate and computer literate (proficient at using Microsoft Office)Can-do attitudeA passion for and good knowledge of film, television, and theatreYou might have prior industry experience (but this is not essential) We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented in the creative industries.
