Our Rutland Social Workers make a real difference. Every day they work with families to help children and young people who have had a difficult start in life to achieve their ambitions. We ensure children are at the heart of our work and aspire to achieve high practice standards with flexible support to improve outcomes.

About you...
- A degree in Social Work and Social Work England registration
- Knowledge of Child-care legislation
- Skilled in the management of risk and assessment of children's needs
- Great communication skills, able to explain complicated information simply
- Knowledge of the issues that affect parenting capacity and the impact of deprivation on child development
- Experience of Signs of Safety methodology

The successful applicants for these posts will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS and Social Work England registration are paid by us.
