We are looking for a Project Manager to join our North Construction team. You will be responsible for ensuring assigned project are robustly planned, productive and on schedule. Safety is an incredibly important part of our industry and you will be responsible for ensuring a safety mindset across projects. You will work with internal and external staff, suppliers and local authorities to ensure we can deliver expected results to our customers and stakeholders.

- Ensuring projects are completed in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner
- Ensuring contractors work according to company policies and procedures through audits
- Gaining permissions from building owners, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Attending meetings with Tenants and Residents Associations
- Satisfying the needs of all customers and stakeholders
- Undertaking standby duties as necessary (with training given as appropriate)
What you'll need
- Knowledge of the gas industry and related health and safety procedures is desirable.
- You will have proven team leadership, coaching, organisational, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- You are an effective communicator at all levels and able to successfully engage with all stakeholders, customers, contractors and your own team.
- Flexibility with a 'can do' enthusiastic approach and strive to outperform targets.
- You have a flexible approach to work, with a focus on team support and sharing responsibility of additional duties such as standby
- Previous Project Management experience within the Utilities industry is advantageous
- A full and valid driving license is required for this role
