Responsibilities:

As the Private Client Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of private client tax advisory and compliance services. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing expert guidance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and non-domicile tax issues.
  • Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Conducting in-depth reviews of client financial records and tax computations to ensure accuracy and identify potential tax-saving opportunities.
  • Preparing and reviewing complex personal tax returns, ensuring they are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Liaising directly with clients to build strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor in all tax-related matters.
  • Managing a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to support their professional development.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest tax legislation changes and communicating their impact to clients and team members.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the accountancy practice to deliver comprehensive and seamless client service.
    Requirements:

    To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
    • ACA or ACCA qualified, with extensive experience in private client tax advisory and compliance.
    • Proven expertise in providing tax advice to high-net-worth individuals, including non-domiciled clients.
    • In-depth knowledge of current tax legislation and a track record of successful tax planning and mitigation.
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of tax professionals.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client engagement and relationship building.
    • Analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate tax computations and reporting.
    • Client-focused approach, dedicated to delivering outstanding service and building lasting client relationships.
    • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
