Sustainability Reporting Manager

Closing Date for Applications – 22nd April (COB)

  • Understands the benchmark definitions and metrics for the scope and plan for the successful delivery of the sustainability programme.
  • Develops, manages, and reports all required metrics reporting, KPI's and waterfall charts.
  • Works with the team to understand any scope changes which will affect the sustainability reduction requirements.
  • Gathers data from other parts of the business and projects and programmes affecting the GSC Sustainability programme i.e., portfolio rationalisation programme, NPI, divestments and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Analyses data and numbers to formulate potential scenarios.

In this role you will:

  • Managing and analysing environmental and sustainability data for GSC to extract valuable insights and KPIs.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of metrics data, aligning with relevant standards
  • Tracking and monitor GSC glidepaths to 2030 in terms of carbon, water, waste, circularity and biodiversity
  • Leveraging analytical skills to interpret data trends and identify improvement opportunities, ultimately supporting informed decision-making processes.
  • Supporting various project streams with data and analytics to deliver their scope (operational sustainability, ECO-Design, product roadmaps etc).
  • To develop, maintain and report against all identified target scope, KPI's and associated Waterfall charts; to include all associated data sets are baselined, change controlled when required, collected, collated, and maintained.

  • The ability to analyse, trend and summarize data, then to communicate results and conclusions effectively.
  • Experience of working with Power BI and excel.
  • Experience in data and analytics.
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills - able to operate at all levels in the organisation.
  • Experience of working effectively across diverse multiple functions, geographic locations and local cultures.
  • An ability to define and lead a complex programme of multi-site site activity, realizing proven benefits.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Degree level qualifications in an appropriate discipline.
  • The ability to grasp detail, sensitivities and business context to make necessary recommendations.
  • Experience of working in the sustainability arena.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the GSC business activities, sites and management organisation.
