Riverside Leisure Centre is Chelmsford City Council's flagship leisure facility, offering a variety of sporting activities where there is something for everyone. Every member of staff plays their role, working within a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well motivated individual to work as part of a team to support the general maintenance, and repair of the Centre, including plant and equipment. Duties will include responding to maintenance related emergencies and general repairs and facility checks as well as assisting the Facilities Manager and Maintenance team.

Applicants must have experience of maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment along with the use of hand tools. A related qualification or apprenticeship would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be required to work 2 days a week, on a rota basis. Shifts may include weekday or weekends, with occasional evenings and some late nights, so flexibility is a must. If you would like further information regarding working hours, please email
