With innovation at our core, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in the dynamic, fast-paced world of startups.

About you:

You will be working with domain experts with a deep understanding of architectural design and Computer-aided design. We are looking for experienced software engineers in engineering software, 2D/3D geometry processing and computer vision, who are excited about solving hard engineering problems and learning new technologies. At Planarific, you will join a dynamic and growing team and contribute to shaping the culture of a startup.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with founders and Software Lead to understand business goals and translate them into innovative technical solutions.

Rapidly prototype and iterate to refine the product, ensuring continuous improvement.

Build scalable and flexible software that can evolve with Planarific's growth.

Assisting Software Lead in establishing technical foundations, setting up development practices and choosing technology stacks.

Assisting Software Lead to manage a growing technology team in the next 2 years.

Inform key decisions on the product's design and implementation, covering all technology aspects.

Adapt to the startup's fast-paced environment, ready to tackle new challenges as they come.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience with a strong portfolio of recent projects and coding ability. Versatility in various programming languages and frameworks, with an ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

Experienceof 3+ years

Experience in any of the following areas:

3D modeling or CAD softwareVR/AR platforms (Unity, Unreal Engine)Computer vision tasks involving 3D objects An entrepreneurial mindset, with a flexible, problem-solving approach typical of startup culture. Exceptional communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. You must have the right to work in the UK.
