A brand new, exclusive role within the Energy sector where those with a good understanding of Tax have an excellent opportunity to develop their career. In this senior position, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance and providing support across various tax-related and commercial responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

A proactive approach to performing direct and indirect tax reporting/filings for the business. This involves UK and international filings, working in collaboration with external tax advisors as well as various departments internally.First point of contact for Contracts and Operations for queries in relation to finance, working together with these departments to develop and maintain in-country operational procedures.Regular review of company operations to ensure sales invoice completeness and appropriate inter-department procedures have been performedProvide support where needed with job cost reportingOther finance responsibilities as they arise and skill set accommodates

Ideally I am looking to speak with people who have proven experience of dealing with UK and International Tax matters, as well as IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge. A formal Accountancy qualification and previous working knowledge of the Energy sector would also be preferred.
