Salary £11.59 per hour Part Time, permanent

Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus 1 week (2.30pm to 5.30pm)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Marshlands School are seeking to appoint a reliable cleaner to join our friendly team. Cleaning experience would be preferable however training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be a good communicator, able to use their own initiative, be proactive as well as being a team player.

Working under the direction of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for cleaning designated areas within the school to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. This may include the following tasks:

• Mopping
  
• Sweeping
  
• Vacuuming
  
• Surfacing cleaning
  
• Emptying of bins/recycling bins and remove rubbish from the premises to the appropriate external bins
  
• Cleaning bathrooms
  
  You will need to provide an outstanding service and maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all time. You will have an awareness of health and safety responsibilities and an eagerness to gain experience and to participate in staff training as and when required.
