About the Role
As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of forklifts and forklift trucks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these machines, conducting regular inspections, and providing diagnostic expertise in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Your Responsibilities
- Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of forklifts and forklift trucks according to the manufacturer's guidelines and industry best practices.
- Responding promptly to breakdowns and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Carrying out diagnostics and identifying faults in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components, then providing effective solutions.
- Completing repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Conducting thorough inspections of forklifts to identify potential issues and recommending preventative maintenance measures.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient workflow, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety standards.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing client queries professionally and maintaining positive relationships.
Requirements
- Recognised qualifications in forklift maintenance or a similar field are essential.
- Demonstrable industry experience in the maintenance and repair of forklifts and forklift trucks.
- Proficiency in fault finding and diagnostics of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of a variety of forklift makes and models.
- A valid driving license is required, as this is a mobile role that involves traveling to different client sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
