Our public sector client is seeking a Courier/driver. This is a temporary position starting 26th June until 7th August 2024.

Main Purpose of the Role:
Collection and delivery of samples to the organisation and their partners.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collection of water and food samples
  • Delivering supplies of empty sample containers
  • Daily vehicle inspections and reporting of vehicle faults
  • Assist in cleaning of the laboratory as required eg sweeping floors, cleaning benches and glassware
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Able to lift sample boxes weighing up to approximately 10kg on a regular basis
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Ideally experience of working in a laboratory environment
  • Experience of working in a fully documented and/or accredited quality system
  • Able to work weekends if required
