This is a great opportunity to be paid to train to become a teacher in a friendly, dynamic school where all can thrive and staff are highly valued.

We are seeking a trainee teacher to join our highly successful school. We have a large mixed sixth form of over 550 students studying A levels and you will teach across all age groups. The School is very successful and most students progress to the top universities. The departments organises many 'Wider Opportunities', including trips, study days and lunchtime clubs, and the school prides itself in its co-curricular programme offering, especially in sports and performing arts.

This one-year, employment-based course offers you the opportunity to attain 'Qualified Teacher Status' and a PGCE. You will spend the majority of your time at Tiffin School with one day per week dedicated to training and a three to six-week placement in another school.

In the first instance, candidates should submit a C.V. and brief covering letter to the school to , explaining why they would like to be considered for the position.

Salary: £24,415 per annum plus tuition fees paid

• a location close to Kingston town centre, and excellent public transport links to Central London, Tiffin is minutes away from the train and bus stations. We are close to Richmond and Bushy Parks, and the Surrey countryside. Our sports ground is beautifully situated with the River Thames and Hampton Court Palace very close by.
