Times are thrilling at East Dunbartonshire Council. We have enhanced our Early Years and Childcare Services to meet the requirements of parents and families as per the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014. With the extension of early learning and childcare to 1140 hours for all 3 and 4-year-olds and eligible 2-year-olds, exciting opportunities have arisen within the early learning and childcare sector.
You will collaborate with a team that nurtures high-quality early years services for children and families, offering them suitable experiences and learning opportunities in line with local and national curriculum guidelines. Your role involves creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for parents and families.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic and well-spoken with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, who appreciates the significance of confidentiality.
The ideal candidate should hold a relevant childcare qualification as specified in the role profile.

Successful candidates are responsible for covering the relevant check's cost, deducted from their initial salary payment.
In certain cases, the payment may be deducted in instalments post-employment commencement, with approval from HR Services Lead.
If an employee departs before deduction, the full amount will be taken from their final salary.
