Position
  • Associate Director
  • Cost & Commercial Management / PMO Mace's consultancy team is working in a seconded client side Global PMO role with one of our key strategic corporate real estate clients.
The role will involve advising across a full range of capital planning, project budgeting, forecasting and strategic procurement services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing strong leadership within client team and delivery teams Creating and monitoring capital plan for all capital investments across EMEA Project Cost Control and Commercial Assurance Monitoring and reporting across the PMO.

Acting as a key interface with the client and other important stakeholders. Working alongside/within a seconded client team and interfacing into project delivery teams.

Maintaining tight budget control, change management and risk management Identifying opportunities to enhance cost management, value engineering and cost avoidance Managing and developing the strategic procurement process Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve the client's procedures, templates and products in order to enrich the services provided to the client.

Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes.

Your knowledge, experience and skills need to include:
Previous experience in a cost consultancy practice in a similar role. Cost planning, budgeting and estimating experience. Knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on Contract Administration Knowledge of value engineering and life cycle costing. Good understanding of industry best practice. Understanding of hot topic issues such as Sustainability, Social Value, Carbon Reduction impacting Public Sector Capex V Opex Cost Analysis/ advice
