Production Supervisor

Flexsource NI part of Cpl jobs, are delighted to be recruiting for our client in the greater Newry & Mourne area for a Senior Production Supervisor for a small manufacturing company.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate who has strong supervisory experience to head up the Production teams and support a well established team of operatives.

Effective and efficient management of all aspects of the production process i.e. production procedures, process disciplines and the day to day control and management of all team members under their charge.

Effectively, controlling, organising and delegating all tasks in line with agreed production schedules to achieve quality and output targets.

Excellent communication skills to support the motivation of team members and establish and maintain effective interdepartmental relationships.

Ensure that Health and Safety rules are applied and adhered to flagging any issues that may be a breach of our policies and procedures.

Experience Required

  • Ability to effectively plan and organise in a busy production environment driving production in line with schedules.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role in a Production/Manufacturing environment.
  • Previous team management experience is essential.
  • Previous responsibility for H&S and an accreditation is desirable.
  • Experience of making improvements both in terms of people development and work flows and processes.
  • Working within strict technical specifications to deliver a top quality product

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm and early Friday finish at 1pm

Salary will reflect on experience but in the region of £35,000pa
