Structural Engineer

Cambridge

£34k-£38k plus benefits

Our client is seeking a full time structural engineer to join their expanding team in Cambridge.

They are looking for a confident graduate who is looking for a varied role where you will support the engineering line manager.

If you can demonstrate drive and ambition, professionalism and good communication skills we want to hear from you.

Your role will see you prepare design calculations and drawings, and you will liaise with clients to provide technical advice. The ability to prepare documents to obtain planning permission/building regulations approval is required, along with administering contracts and assisting in successful project delivery.

Strong communication skills are required as you will liaise with professionals such as architects, providing excellent customer service in line with expectations.

Requirements:

Degree in engineeringExperience of working within a UK engineering consultancyKnowledge of latest statutory requirements, technical publications and guidelinesMethodical approach with strong problem-solving skills You will benefit from the support of more senior team members, who will encourage and assist in your development and progression.
