Job Title: IT Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer (AWS)Salary: up to £48,000 Location: Flintshire Our client is currently looking to recruit a new IT Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer (AWS) to help with new and ongoing projects and provide advanced technical support for new and existing systems. The successful candidate will provide excellent technical 3rd line support, create efficient technical solutions, coordinate timely technical responses and take a lead technically on project delivery. This position will also be working with third-party support and contractors. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver various infrastructure projects, ensuring proper controls and resources.
  • Maintain operational Cloud infrastructure systems.
  • Provide technical and 3rd line support.
  • Ensure systems are protected through use of proper backups and regularly testing.
  • Proactively develop, support, and manage IT environments.
  • Solve complex technical issues.
  • Manage IT infrastructure changes.
  • The ability to provide support outside of core hours when needed.
Required Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in complex IT environments helping with both new and legacy systems.
  • Strong knowledge of servers, hardware, operating systems, databases, storage etc.
  • Previous experience in Linux-based servers and AWS.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft environments e.g. Active Directory, SQL, SharePoint, Office 365, and Azure.
  • Experience with VMware
  • Able to travel to other sites within your division.
